Terms of Service
Last updated: June 7, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Cobenian Companion ("Companion," the "Service"), provided by Cobenian Corporation ("Cobenian," "we," "us"), a Virginia corporation. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Companion is an ambient, voice-driven assistant that lets you interact with services you connect to it. You speak or type a request, and Companion routes it to the tools and connections you have authorized, returning results and reading them back to you.
2. Accounts and sign-in
You sign in through a third-party identity provider (such as Google or Microsoft). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your identity-provider account and for all activity that occurs under your Companion session. You must provide accurate information and be authorized to use the account you sign in with.
3. Workspaces and members
A workspace is a private space with its own connections and data. If you create a workspace, you are its owner; owners and admins may invite members and manage the workspace's connections. You are responsible for who you invite and for the actions members take within your workspace. Workspace data is isolated from other workspaces.
4. Connections and your credentials
Companion can connect to external services (for example, MCP servers and other Cobenian products) at your direction. When you add a connection, you authorize Companion to access that service on your behalf using the credentials you provide. You represent that you have the right to connect those services and to grant that access, and you remain responsible for what those services do with the requests you direct to them and for their own terms.
5. Voice, AI, and confirmation
Companion uses automated speech and AI models to understand requests and act on your behalf. AI can make mistakes, and you should review important results. Side-effecting and destructive actions require your explicit, per-action confirmation before they run. Your voice is used for convenience only — it is never used as a means of authentication.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to break the law, infringe others' rights, gain unauthorized access to any system, interfere with the Service, or attempt to access data belonging to another workspace. We may suspend or terminate access that violates these Terms.
7. Privacy
Our handling of your information is described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your personal data.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated results will be accurate.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cobenian will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or its users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
